St Agnes' Catholic Parish has been nominated for the 2024 Port Macquarie Business Awards in the Health and Wellbeing category for Emmaus Village.
The Port Macquarie electorate has one of the highest rates of dementia in Australia, and unfortunately, rates have been predicted by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) to nearly double in the next three decades to become the leading cause of death among Australians.
St Agnes' Catholic Parish is deeply committed to providing innovative, specialist dementia care in our region, so being nominated for this award is a real privilege.
